Introduction
The Key Account Manager will manage sales activities in Poland and SEE by interacting with all Sylvamo functions, nominated and new accounts with the primary objective of maximizing the return on Sylvamo’s business. This role involves creating value propositions, managing existing and developing new relationships, and providing market insights to ensure the company’s products meet customer needs and exceed sales targets.

Function
Key Accountabilities:
1. Value Proposition Development:
- Create compelling value propositions that generate additional value for both the customer and the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance value offerings.
2. Sales and Marketing Plans:
– Develop sales in these segments:
- The job holder will have existing contacts with Printers and Converters enabling the sale of UWF reels grades like inkjet, pre-print, envelope, offset and scholastic. The Key Account Manager is expected to develop these contacts to bring new business in this area.
- Prospect for new accounts / pieces of business primary but not exclusively in the Printing and converting area.
- Office papers: focus on all channels (merchants, OPS, on-line, retail) and create pull though further down the value chain; focus on Sylvamo brands plus targeted private labels.
- Work within the sales process, and related tools, to ensure a pipeline of future business to be able to deliver on your sales targets.
- Eventually specialty paper applications outside printing and writing.Develop and implement local marketing plans for key accounts to promote our products.
– Adopt a consultative selling approach to build strong relationships with selected accounts.
– Ensure we optimize brand and product mix, aligned to manufacturing and service capabilities (all mills). Challenge traditional models and views on current business and contribute to product and channel development within the business

3. Revenue Maximization:
- Manage pricing, sales costs (including rebates and royalties), and marketing expenses in coordination with the local Marketing Manager.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve net revenue.
4. Customer Profiling:
- Gather and analyze data to create detailed customer profiles, including key contacts, major suppliers, market shares, product portfolios, and product mix.
- Use this information to tailor sales strategies and enhance customer engagement.
5. Forecasting and Supply Chain Management:
- Provide accurate monthly volume and product mix forecasts for each account using the standard template.
- Ensure forecasts align with supply chain capabilities to maximize value.
6. Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customer service teams through regular communication and face-to-face meetings.
- Develop and maintain relationships across client’s business ensuring Sylvamo and its products and services are recognized and understood.
7. Market Intelligence:
- Collect and report market information, including competitor activities and price movements, through structured customer and second-tier visit reports.
- Contribute to monthly sales and marketing reports with relevant insights.
8. Credit Policy Implementation:
- Ensure adherence to company credit policies in all transactions and account management activities.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management selling to printers and converters and other UWF buyers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to regular travel, approximately 60% of the time
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Languages: fluent in English, Polish, any other Southeast European language spoken in the region is considered a plus
